November Tablescapes: Elegant Blue And White Thanksgiving Table Setting

I can't believe it's already November of 2020 which means Thanksgiving and all that it entails is quickly approaching.

What does Thanksgiving mean to you?

For me, it means togetherness and thankfulness.

It’s hard to put into words exactly how thankful I am for my family and everything they’ve ever done for me. They’re my support system, my rock and my life. I couldn’t imagine my life without a family like ours. It is because of my family that I have the strength to grow, take chances, and live, because I knew they were always behind me every step of the way. For that, I'm forever thankful for them.

Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks and celebrating with food. So, of course, with an entire holiday focused around the table, we all want ours to look the part.

This year I was inspired by blue and white vases, vintage chinoiserie patterns, Victorian Vintage Blue & White Figurines, and elegant crystal candelabras. These all work together to make a magical and soft table when mixed with this chic country living dinnerware set by Johnson Brothers. Devon Cottage pattern is an updated classic design that comes from the Johnson Brothers archive, reinterpreted for today. This beautiful pattern fits snugly within the English Country Classic assortment.

I love the timeless look that blues and whites bring to a room. Sometimes mixing in classic decor with off-beat whimsical pieces is just what a room needs to achieve the right balance.

And of course, place cards pave a beautiful path to organized seating, and they add elegance to any table. Calligraphy placecards in collaboration with Written Word Calligraphy. A special thanks to Karla Lim who helped my vision become a reality.

Mixing chinoiserie decor with autumn decorating creates a festive and timeless combination. I hope this blue and white chinoiserie fall dining room inspires you to create your own classic fall table setting.
