September Tablescapes: Greenery and Dusty Pink Hathaway Rose Table Setting
Who doesn’t love the way a beautiful Autumn table setting can enhance the mood of any dinner or gathering? It is important to always make the extra effort to have a table beautifully styled and ready for each season.
Today, I want to share a Greenery and Dusty Pink Hathaway Rose Table Setting to bring a smile to anyone’s face!
It all started because I fell in love with Wedgwood Hathaway Rose, a very popular discontinued (I believe this pattern was discontinued in 1987) tableware design from the Wedgwood pottery. It features a stunning pink rose design on elegant shapes trimmed in gold. Actual: 1959 - 1987.
I also have a true love for Wedgwood Pink Jasperware and am slowly building a great collection. I started with a collection of the bust-adorned, mineral-based small vases I found on Etsy, eBay, Replacements, and Antique stores. There is something about Wedgwood Pink that just makes me oh so happy...it seems like the true romantic pink.
First developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s, the neoclassical collection took its inspiration from ancient Greek urns and Roman cameo glass. I'm having fun incorporating my ultra-classic antique and vintage finds into my more contemporary surroundings.
For the centerpieces, I used Pinky Peach Stock, White Hydrangeas, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Together, they smell so fragrant and will brighten anyone’s home! I love this color combination because it's cozy and content, like the colors of romantic autumn.
