Themed Party: My Birthday Party 2019

It’s interesting to think about the word "settled" because right when we start to feel settled, life always surprises us with a turn that requires some adjustment. I always thought being a news anchor was my calling. In 2016, I got married and moved to Los Angeles. Life went from positive to positive attached to a lot of new with so many emotions swirling about; I was grieving the loss of living near all my best friends, being in a city that was my comfort zone (Bangkok), leaving behind my favorite daily routine and a career that I loved so dearly. BUT I was so happy to marry Chris and start a life together in beautiful sunny California. 

This shift has been such an incredible blessing but simultaneously one of the hardest adjustments of my life. I moved into a city where people didn’t know the details of my stories and my heart. I battled the doubts and had to have grace and patience with myself to feel acquainted to a new bustling city.

These past few years have been a time of accelerated growth with the realization that I am not in control. Shifts in life are hard, yet so beautiful. With the love and support from my loved ones, I finally found my new calling as a loving wife and interior designer.

I am lucky enough to be reminded daily to live with a grateful heart and accept the shifts that come our way. Embracing life’s changes only enrich our character and extend our compassion. And in it all, I learn to relax and trust the timing of my life.

Each year, I get to indulge in red velvet cake for my birthday. But, this year's cake was extra special because it was so impeccably prepared by renowned French Executive Pastry Chef, Franck Istel Claude. Exquisite design, unrivaled taste!
