October Tablescapes: Whimsical White and Gold Pumpkin Themed Fall Tablescape
We are in the middle of a heat wave in Los Angeles and I’m dreaming of cooler weather and falling leaves. I’m finding ways to express my creativity while I’m waiting. One of my favorite things to do, of course, is creating pretty tablescapes for my home. Fall entertaining is one of my favorites! For me, there’s no easier time to entertain – Fall is the season of cozy, which for me, calls for more time with family, entertaining, cooking, and baking together!
Today, I am excited to share my second Fall Tablescape that will easily transition for Halloween end of this month!
For this table, again, I started with one of my favorite vintage dinnerware china set, Tyler Presidential by Lenox. The pattern has been discontinued. Its actual production date was during 1984 - 1999. It features beautiful depth of color with Lenox cream porcelain glazing highlighted with a Black band, Gold Ropes design, and 24kt gold trim. How lovely!
Then the flowers; I love incorporating traditional fall color but in a softer form. I mixed some white bunny tail grass with baby blue eucalyptus along with some soft million star and popcorn baby's breath in a small crystal vases.
I always like to add some seasonal items to a table when I can. It’s so nice to have some metallic gold and white glass pumkpkins run down the center of the table along with brass candlesticks. These small decor represent the season and add elegant touches.
I’m looking forward to some fun fall entertaining this year, and I hope this gives you some ideas for your own table settings. This autumn tablescape would be perfect for anything from a casual dinner party to Halloween birthday dinner (my husband was born on Halloween)!
