Thai Classic Pan Eggs Breakfast (Kai Krata)

1 Thai Classic Morning Breakfast Egg Pan

INGREDIENTS

☐ 1½ tbsp butter

☐ 2 eggs

☐ 3-4 small pieces of Vietnamese ham (cha lua), sliced

☐ 120 g ground pork

☐ ¼ cup bacon

☐ ½ Tbsp oyster sauce

☐ 1 tsp maggi 

☐ cilantro for garnish

white pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

- Combine the meat, oyster sauce, maggi in a small bowl, mix well. Heat ½ butter in a pan. Add the meat mixture and cook, stirring to break up lumps. Remove and set aside.


- Sear Vietnamese ham over medium heat just until they are browned. Remove and set aside.


- Heat the serving dish over medium-low heat. Add the butter, and once melted, add the eggs. Lay the toppings on the eggs. Let the eggs steam for a few minutes until the whites are cooked and the yolk is done to your liking.


- When finished, remove from heat and garnish with a cilantro and white pepper. Enjoy!
